Join us for a night of cultural exploration at Casino Marino!
The Casino stands out as an extraordinary building, notable for its architectural significance and rich historical context. Designed by Sir William Chambers in the late 18th century, it was intended to function as a habitable garden temple for James Caulfeild, the 1st Earl of Charlemont, situated next to his residence, Marino House, in what was then a rural setting. This structure is recognised as an excellent illustration of neoclassical architecture in Ireland. Join our expert guides for an engaging tour of the Casino, where you will discover the incredible design and history of this hidden gem.
Guided tours will take place at 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, and 7 pm during Culture Night, Friday, 20th of September.
Tickets for the tours are free but must be booked in advance through Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.ie/e/culture-night-at-casino-marino-tickets
